I am updating my BLOG...it is 11 AM on Sunday, April 1....I have a bit of shopping to do before finishing packing....take a shower and head for the airport at 2 PM. We arrive back in Delphi at 6:30 PM this evening and have our final dinner together as a group. All of us will head our own way tomorrow....Pip, Jodie and Ian to a beach resort in Malaysia.....Rick and May back home to Nova Scotia....Julie and Karen to Hong Kong for 3 days of fun....Tony, Leah and myself to Varanasi. Kulpdeep begins another tour....different itinerary on April 2...the same day that we depart Delphi.....no rest for those who work in India.

We arrived in Delhi but our luggage took a detour through Mumbai. Most of us headed for a pharmacy to buy a toothbrush and paste before heading for dinner. I decided not to take my SLR camera because I was tired of lugging it around and what else could happen ...plenty. First we celebrated Pip's birthday at the restaurant...see her smiling face....as we left the restaurant there was a cacophony of noise....a wedding beginning at 10 PM...only in India. The groom and his party, riding in a white horse drawn carriage, preceded by a band and a host of revelers, are parading down the street to the home of the bride for dinner and the beginning of the Hindu wedding ceremony. Kuldeep, our guide, tells us that his wedding had a total of 2,500 guests and lasted for a total of 3 days.
Happy Birthday....Pip
